THE SCRATCHING POST (RESCUE AND SHELTER APPEAL FOR CATS)

The Scratching Post Cat Rescue Charity relieves the suffering of maltreated, abandoned and unwanted cats in need of care, operating in North London, Essex and Hertfordshire. It maintains a rescue cattery and a net-work of volunteer foster carers for the reception, care and treatment of these cats and, where appropriate, arranges the rehoming of them. It relies heavily on the work of volunteers, with only a minimum of paid staff at the cattery, and its only means of funding is via voluntary contributions
