Remembering the Accused Witches of Scotland
In Scotland, from around 1500 and over a span of 150 years, over 4,000 people were prosecuted (and most executed) under the law on charges of witchcraft. We aim for this great injustice to be formally recognised and to erect a national monument to that effect. We also aim to support and conduct research to uncover and document these horrible events of the past and to put forward educational material so that we can all learn the impacts when parts of society are marginalised and stigmatised.
