Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity

About 70,000 adults and children in the UK may have Polycystic Kidney Disease or PKD - life-threatening inherited conditions that can cause kidney failure and affect other organs in the body, notably the liver and the brain. There is no cure for PKD. We support those affected, their families and carers. We publish reliable information, raise awareness and fund research. The PKD Charity is led mainly by people affected by PKD with many years of experience and understanding of the condition.
