Motor neuron disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. It can rob people of their ability to walk, talk, swallow or breathe unaided. There is currently no cure or meaningful treatment for this devastating disease. MND Scotland funds ground-breaking research to bring us closer to finding a cure and campaigns for lasting change. When time matters most, we’re also a helping hand of support.
