Bob Champion Cancer Trust

Bob Champion was riding at the height of his career in 1979 when he discovered he was suffering from cancer in two parts of his body, lung and testicular. Against the odds he survived and went onto win the '81 Grand National on Aldaniti and the Trust was founded. Since then much has been achieved, two research facilities, one at the ICR in Sutton with the Royal Marsden and the Bob Champion Research and Education Building at UEA, Norwich. The Trust continues their research studies at these laboratories.
