The Human Milk Foundation
When a mum is unable to breastfeed her baby, because of illness, cancer or low supply, it can leave a sadness that lasts for decades. We want to support parents to be able to access the safest alternative - screened donated breast milk from a human milk bank. The HMF provides grants to parents to access donor milk, and provides support for mothers facing illness and a new baby. We also fund vital research into how breastfeeding reduces the risk of mothers becoming ill in later life.
