The Gurkha Welfare Trust
The Gurkhas are soldiers from Nepal who are recruited into the British Army and have been for the last 200 years.
Established in 1969, The Gurkha Welfare Trust exists to ensure that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity. The Trust achieves this primarily through the provision of financial, medical and community aid across Nepal.
