WECare Worldwide
Founded in 2014 by Dr Janey Lowes, WECare Worldwide aims to provide UK standard veterinary care for street animals in need around the world, starting in Sri Lanka due to the huge overpopulation of street dogs, often with extensive injuries or severe disease. Over the last four years, WECare have treated almost 6,000 animals in need and look to increase this number in a dramatic way in the near future through neutering and vaccination programmes, general medical treatment and community education.
